Our journey
Second soprano, first bass. We sang beside each other for half a year before either of us said anything.
For three months just a mattress and a piano. It was the best time, we say now.
We were apart for eleven months. It belongs here, and without it the rest would not be true.
On a Sunday morning, in the kitchen, half dressed. It took less than three minutes.
What we have prepared for you
Outside the chapel.
With the organ. It dates from 1904.
In the garden behind the parsonage.
At one table for forty.
No DJ. A piano and whoever wants to play.
We finish early. On purpose.
On our own behalf
We want nothing. That is not a polite phrase — we have everything we need. If you would still like to give something: the chapel organ has been under repair for years and is collecting for it.

Ceremony at 3:00 pm
A small chapel above the Rhine with forty seats. The way up is steep and cobbled — if walking is difficult, tell us and we will collect you at the top.

Plain and light. We have no rules, but if you want one: as little pattern as possible. In March it is windy up on the hillside and the chapel never warms up.
